The object of this piece of work concerns the safeguards granted to the individual under the Italian administrative trial. More specifically the work is dedicated to the guarantees provided to the individuals by the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and European Union law. The ECHR and the EU law (the latter, in particular, through the Charter of Fundamental Rights) provide individuals with a series of procedural guarantees whose compliance is the basis for the "fair trial".
